The contours of the inside help ensure your child sits securely on the interior, as the toy doesn’t contain a seat belt. While this may sound like a red flag, the design of the vehicle makes it truly unnecessary.

While we’re on the topic of safety, you’ll be glad to know that the Power Wheels Dune Racer Pink features a set of Power Lock® brakes. That means that as soon as your child lifts their foot off the pedal, the brakes will automatically be put on, making sure they don’t go anywhere without meaning to. While the regular max speed for the toy is 5 MPH, this feature allows you to cut that in half, only allowing your child to reach up to 2.5 MPH.
